Software Upgrades vs. Software Updates

Confused about what constitutes an upgrade and an update?

Software upgrades generally contain major enhancements and new features. Upgrades change the software’s version number. An example would be upgrading Office Therapy® from version 10 to version 11.

There is a fee involved in upgrading software, unless you are current on annual maintenance.  The fee is dependent on the version you are currently using.

Software updates repair features that aren’t working right for some users, provide minor enhancements, and can provide small changes to make the software easier to use.  Software updates can generally be automatically downloaded depending on the version number you are using.

EMDR Documentation Content in QuicDoc

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) content is available as an add-on in both our QuicDoc Professional and Enterprise Edition software. The flexibility of embedding EMDR documentation content in QuicDoc enables providers to capture and report information on EMDR treatment, as well as track patient progress. EMDR certified therapists who are current customers of QuicDoc can purchase EMDR documentation content for a nominal fee. Contact our Sales Department at 800-850-8510 for information.

Testing and certification was performed by The Drummond Group’s EHR Office of the National Coordinator Authorized Certification Body.

QuicDoc Enterprise EHR Software Version 8.0 is fully compliant in accordance with the standards and criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services. QuicDoc Enterprise supports Meaningful Use measures required for eligible behavioral health providers to receive EHR incentives.

This EHR Module is 2014 compliant and has been certified by an ONC-ACB in accordance with the applicable certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. This certification does not represent an endorsement by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services or guarantee the receipt of incentive payments. DocuTrac, Inc. received Ambulatory Certification on June 19, 2014 for QuicDoc Enterprise v8.0, Certification ID number 1314E01P3YODEAF and Certificate No. 06192014‐2443‐6. The Clinical Quality Measures Certified are as follows: CMS002v3, CMS068v3, CMS069v2, CMS137v2, CMS138v2, CMS156v2, CMS161v2, CMS165v2, CMS169v2; The modules tested are as follows: 170.314(a)(1‐15); 170.314(b)(1‐5, 7); 170.314(c)(1‐3); 170.314(d)(1‐8); 170.314(e)(1‐3); 170.314(f)(1); 170.314(g)(2‐4). Retiring Versions of Office Therapy®
