Electronic Signature Text in QuicDoc

When using an electronic signature pad, mouse, or other device for electronic signatures in QuicDoc Enterprise or Professional software, you can set up text to accompany client signatures or another third party individual, such as a parent or guardian who signs notes or treatment plans.

For example, the following text ‘By signing this document, I am agreeing with the treatment plan as prescribed by my treatment team.’ can be used for client or third party signatures.

What’s new in QuicDoc Pro Version 11.5.0

QuicDoc 11.5QuicDoc software update Version 11.5.0 includes a Master Medication List and automatic medication syncing from DrFirst® for prescribers; the ability to send secondary and tertiary service lines to Office Therapy; and an enhanced patient search, as well as other changes.  Version 11.5.0 is an automatic update for those current on Maintenance.

Avoid this Error when e-Filing in Office Therapy

According to the TriZetto Provider Solutions® weekly error report, the number one reason for claim rejections is duplicate claims.  

FilingThe easiest way to avoid this error is to ALWAYS mark your claims as filed.  After you upload your claims in Claims Manager you are prompted to mark your “claims as filed.” Always say yes. If you ever need to re-bill a claim, you can easily regenerate it by applying the appropriate filters. 

Sending duplicate claims can affect your costs if you are paying per transaction. Also, payers do not like to reprocess claims that have already been adjudicated in their systems. This can slow reimbursement and possibly flag you for an audit.
