National Council for Behavioral Health Conference 2014

It's almost here! If you're not already planning to attend the National Council for Behavioral Health Conference 2014, it's not too late to register. Click here to do so.

Jim Miller, Director of Quality Control and Compliance and Heather Painter, Director of Implementation and Training will be representing DocuTrac at this year's conference in Washington, DC on May 5th, 6th and 7th.

Stop by booth 727 and say hello to Jim and Heather. They will have information on hand regarding I-Stop (New York providers) and Electronic Prescribing of Controlled Substances and QuicExchange, our data exchange system for interoperability.

Hope to see you there!

Electronic Prescribing of Controlled Substances

Say goodbye to your prescription pad!

EPCS Gold, powered by DrFirst, makes it possible to write all prescriptions electronically. With EPCS Gold, physicians can electronically prescribe schedule II-V controlled substances, improving client safety and helping to prevent fraud and abuse.

Controlled substance e-prescribing is already legal in the vast majority of U.S. states (click here for an interactive map). EPCS-ready pharmacies are coming online daily and new state mandates surrounding EPCS are near-term realities. Find e-prescribing pharmacies by clicking here.

Please call our Sales Department at 800-850-8510 for more information.

DSM-5, ICD-9/ICD-10 and QuicDoc®

There has been much confusion over the DSM-5, ICD-9, and ICD-10 codes. In order to clarify and answer questions, Dr. Arnie Schuster, President of DocuTrac, Inc. has written an article about these changes, as well as how the codes have been integrated into QuicDoc EMR Software.

An annual Risk Assessment is mandated for those applying for Meaningful Use incentives and is highly recommended for all other providers to limit the possibility of a data breach on their part.
