Problem:

Office Therapy crashes with no error or explanation when entering a zip code in the client setup and moving to the next field, and/or when clicking tabs on the Tab control in certain screens.

Cause:

The Antivirus may be blocking certain events in Office Therapy that cause it to terminate Office Therapy.   Certain Antivirus contains a security feature that blocks programs that simulate a key being pressed on the keyboard. Office Therapy uses this to automatically advance to a certain field after entering a zip code or when clicking on a tab.

Solution:

Go into your Antivirus settings and try to unblock the software.  Below is an example from Constant Guard by Xfinity.

Open Constant Guard and Click Options.

Click “Manage my “Blocked Program” rules…”

If OTherapy.exe is listed here, make sure that Allow is selected:

Confirm and click Done. Close Constant Guard and test Office Therapy to make sure the program is not crashing in those areas.
