SQL Server Does Not Exist Error

If an error message of -2146233087 Failed to connect to server or -2147467259,[DBNETLIB][ConnectionOpen (Connect()).] SQL Server does not exist or access denied, try the below fix.  The below fix is used when a single license or multiple PCs that are connecting to the server gets the Failed to connect to server.

In the Start Menu, type Services.msc and open the application

Scroll down until you see SQL SERVER (DTISQLSERVER)

If the status of this service is not running, right click and select Properties

Set the Startup Type as Automatic Delayed

Click on the Start button

Wait until the Service is started

Click Ok

Try to relaunch either Office Therapy or QuicDoc

 Another possible fix:

If Services are running check the .net framework.

Go to the Control Panel and Add/Remove Programs

On the left side menu, click on Turn Windows features on or off

The .NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0) plus .NET Framework 4.6 Advanced Services needs to be checked.

If one is not check, check the box and click Ok

A Windows Features will appear stating downloading/apply changes.  Wait until this is finished.  Once finished, click Close.

Try to relaunch either Office Therapy or QuicDoc

Please note:  if the above solutions does not resolve the issue, there could possibly be network issues which may require your IT to be involved.  TheraManager DocuTrac does not provide technical support for network setup, network related problems, or network maintenance.
