In version 12.0.0 or higher, a new feature has been added with the Appointment Types.

Open the QuicDoc Calendar

Go to File, then select Appointment Types List

Click on Add

Fill in the Type and click on the ellipse button to set a color.  Once color is set, click on save.  **Please note that lighter colors are best when used as they do not hide the text color which can be harder to view. **

Repeat steps 3 and 4 to set other appointment types, once finished click Close.

Click on Appointment menu and select New Appointment.  Click on either Schedule Patient or Schedule Appt. Type.  

When setting the appointment, there is a section called Type.  For the drop down you will choose the appointment type.  Click ok when appointment is completed.

The appointment types are now color coded.
