The mark
as filed feature in Claims Manager will allow the user to mark the claims
that have been printed or uploaded to be archived. Once these claims are archived they will not
show again in the queue when producing new claims. If you ever need to retrieve these claims,
they are accessible by going to the Advanced tab.
Once the claims have been printed or uploaded,
click on Mark as Filed.
A message will appear stating claims were marked
as filed. Click Ok.
To retrieve claims that has been archived:
The recommended way to retrieving a specific claim is to filter
by using the date, client, insurance company, and/or rendering provider.
Click on Advanced
tab and select the last option ‘Include
charges that were already marked as filed.’
Click on Show
Charges To Be Filed button to populate the claim(s).
