QuicDoc® Enterprise Version 8.0 Receives ONC-ACB Certification by Drummond Group

July 8, 2014 – Hagerstown, MD

DocuTrac, a leading developer of electronic medical records software for the behavioral health industry, announced that QuicDoc Enterprise Version 8.0 has been tested and certified under the Drummond Group’s Electronic Health Records Office of the National Coordinator Authorized Certification Body (ONC-ACB) program. This Electronic Health Records (EHR) software is compliant in accordance with the criteria adopted by the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

“Our entire staff was involved in achieving ONC 2014 Edition certification. Their perseverance and dedication enables us to provide highly intuitive, customizable, and certified EHR software to the behavioral and mental health professionals. Our commitment to obtain 2014 edition certification demonstrates our determination to remain a viable behavioral health software provider well into the future,” says Jim Miller, Director of Quality and Compliance.

Drummond Group’s ONC-ACB certification program certifies that EHRs meet the meaningful use criteria for either eligible provider or hospital technology. In turn, healthcare providers using the EHR systems of certified vendors are qualified to receive federal stimulus monies upon demonstrating meaningful use of the technology – a key component of the federal government’s push to improve clinical care delivery through the adoption and effective use of EHRs by U.S. healthcare providers.

QuicDoc Enterprise, which met the requirements for EHR Modular (Ambulatory) Certification, is a complete solution for clinical records management and is available as both a cloud hosted system and a client-server system.

“Leveraging information technology for healthcare initiatives provides the opportunity to deliver a high-level quality of care and efficiency which essentially benefits and enhances the overall patient experience,” says Rik Drummond, CEO of the Drummond Group Inc. “We have been testing software for more than a decade and will continue to provide our extensive experience testing and certifying complex systems for multiple industries, as well as ensuring interoperability and security remain key components in the growing healthcare industry.”

This EHR Module is 2014 compliant and has been certified by an ONC-ACB in accordance with the applicable certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
